don't worry, the first 180 needs a little bit of luck.

if you haven't hit in 8 tries so far, then this is nothing to worry about. i don't remember how many chances i needed to get my first, but it were surely much more than 8.

if you want to work on this a little, you may try to throw with 6 or even 9 darts per turn. not regularly, but from time to time you can try such a "session".

this tip is from kurt t., who posts on this board from time to time, and regularly uses this practice method with good results.
