I'm not sure they are bent so much as where they screw together is not seating right... the wobble seems to happen at the joints. (Quite possibly that 2 gram thing.. it seems cheap compared to the rest of it.)
I think the nickle/silver is mid-grade, somewhat denser than brass but not as dense as a tungsten dart.
As to the weight... the heaviest they carried (Out of big old PILE of darts) was 20 Gr, and the advice I got was that most leagues wouldn't let you use over 18 Gr darts?
Also... (And this may have a lot to do with it) the shop was in a place that seemed to have alot of soft tip boards, but I usually end up throwing steel tips where I live (Denver).
Hehe, in other words, I was probably buying in a place with a different set of rules than where I live... hey, on a trip and bored ...dart shopping on a whim maybe not the best idea? ;-P
Ahh well, for my level of dart tossing on occasion with friends and never likely to try a league at least I won't have to keep trading darts with everyone else to play.
