I actually do get lots of bounce outs and flights hitting causing deflection. I mean the extra points DONT make me a better player but I thought it would make the game less frustrating sometimes. And I see you don't recommend them cause they are not going to save my butt realistically. Now having said that; are there any disadvantages in this type of dart over standard fixed point tungsten darts? I even tried out some real expensive black widows and I didn't even like them as much hammerheads that were half the price!
As for weights; you recommend 23+/-2 gm(in the other post). So 23 is a good bet(avg?). How do I know when I really need new darts? I just find my darts ugly and I get lots of bounce outs. Besides the gimmicky features of new darts; whats the real advantage in using tungsten darts over brass darts besides being thinner and can group closer together? Do they travel or strike the board any better?
